We provide linen rentals and laundry service to Edmonton area small medical and commercial facilities. We are a small, family-owned company working hard to provide superior service to our clients.

Position Summary

GMCLLS is hiring a General Assistant. This is a fulltime position, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Responsibilities include completing each day’s laundry and the end of day cleaning. The General Assistant will also be responsible for closing the business each day.

The General Assistant needs to be self-motivated and responsible as they will be working alone much of the time. This position is accountable for finishing the day’s duties so the following day can run smoothly.

List of Responsibilities

• Sorting, laundering, and folding large volumes of medical laundry
• Counting and data entry of laundry for each client Cleaning shop, including vacuuming, mopping, wiping down surfaces, and emptying garbages Shutting down the shop and locking up at the end of their shift

Job Requirements

• Able to lift up to 25kg (55lbs)
• Long periods of standing required
